Areas and objects legally protected
The North west part of the Rejowiec Fabryczny town is situated in Pawlowski
area of protected landscape. This district is 50hectare and it contains a valley of a no-name watercourse which
falls into the Mokry Cannel (the Rejowiec Fabryczny parish).
There are 3 nature monuments.

Those are two boulders (two types of granite) which are acknowledged as monuments of unanimated nature.
They are situated next to the Roman Catholic parish. There also is a 427cm circumference oak growing in the
"Stajne-Polesie" Park next to the manor house.
In the city area, on the Lubelska Street , next to each other, there are two city manor parks which are included
in the registry of monuments:

- The Dębinka Forest park- its area is 2.4 hectares, it accomplishes the role of town's park.
One can observe there precious trees mainly oaks (XIX century) few of the trees after being estimated,
should be acknowledged as nature monuments. Nowadays the park is being cleaned and cultivated in order to improve
the beauty of the place.
- The Stajne-Polesie manor-park set was built in the end of XIX century. The manor house (1890-1900) together with
the park (3,4hectars) form an attractive place of resting and recreation for the town inhabitants. In the park many
valuable trees have been maintained, among other things monumental oaks, spruce avenue, imposing lindens. Some of them
should have been acknowledged as natural monuments.
Forests
Forests and tree areas included in the town area cover 31hectarc, that is 2,1% of town's
surface. Minute pine tree forests are spread all over the borders of the town. Major part of the fresh forest (Krasnystaw
Nadleśnictwo) is situated in the south part of the town. The forest stand there is over 40 years old.
In the immediate vicinity of the town there is a lot of vast forest complexes ( The Pawlowskie Forests,
The Siedliski Forest and Kadzin). They fulfil tourist and recreational functions for the inhabitants of the town.
Mineral resources
In the northern-west part of the town there are documented deposits of chock margle. They are situated on the parish
and municipality of Rejowiec Fabryczny border and they cover 217 hectares (within town's borders it is 114 hectares).
The deposit has been exploited since 1924 and it is a source of raw materials for the nearby REJOWIEC S.A Cement Plant.
The deposit is characterised with simple construction, not destroyed by tectonic movements. The layers are deposited
in nearly vertical position and the average thickness of the deposit is 42,3 m., the thickness is 2,25m. and the depth
is 158 m. above sea level.
The Rejowiec margla has the average Ca percentage of 10% according to the current norms in the cement industry and it
is acknowledged as a source not exactly "low".
Because of the deposit, the "Rejowiec I" mining area ( 326 hectars) was created. There is also a mining district within
the Rejowiec Fabryczny Commune.
